Santa was faced with that shit show called Christmas
And franky he is feeling much older
Still this pushy chick from the chatter named Missy
About this poem’s delay keeps getting bolder

So now she’s even bitching on Facebook
In a group made just for the chatter
Her catterwalling woke up the old geezer
To see what the hell was the matter

So here I come a rhyming
It gets harder to do this deed
But tradition is tradition
Sit back and have a Merry little read

Fleck is so crazy about sports
And hanging with his buds
Plus spending time with his little girl
And his cute wife Rachel he so loves!

Peggy’s busy planning a wedding day
Seems things are really great now
She’s moving into a new place
How things have changed holy cow!

TJ is busy writing her novel
And living where its warm
She’s posting all over facebook
And mostly in great form

Have you heard the biggest news
Richard is a new dad-OH BROTHER.
He has a sweet little baby girl Emily
Let’s hope she takes after her mother!

Jeff is teaching middle school
And his days are a busy blur
His family is his pride and joy
Posting pics of them here and there

Dean is our resident production techno geek
With his love for music, movies and more
A nicer guy you could not find
Of that Santa is positively sure

Peanut has the most beautiful family
We see pictures, hear stories and such
The girls are always dressed so pretty
But they gotta stop getting sick so much!

Mox is studying and working her butt off
End of Nursing school is now closer in sight
She recently lost her kitty love Maxie
For that we all hug her so tight

Kits loves to run, cook and travel
Her family and friends make her smile
The food she’s been making and posting
She burns off mile after mile

Cpher keeps hoppin and boppin
With those two adorable little girls
He had a blast all last winter
When the snow blew in town in such swirls

Taz fills her sunny days
With her work, dogs and more
But Santa knows that love for family
Is what rocks her to her core

Why look now at our geeky beer girl Jen
She’s got a brand new adorable girl baby
Olive’s almost 8 months old we see
Do you think you might want another…maybe?

Raven’s got so much to be thankful for
With Olivia and Maddy plus Zoey her insane pup
A change this year with her sweetie man
Santa’s heard that something spectacular is up

Kim Dodd our little sprung has been busy
Santa calls her a live music trollop
Road trips to concerts with friends and her girls
Keeps the pace of her life “Aces Up”

Stephanie oh Stephanie you changed names
We remember when you were just a young thing
A beautiful wedding you had with Michael
From Minniti to Bond has a nice ring

Dannah lives way down south where it’s warm
With little man Owen and her hubby Chris
The last few weeks she’s been obsessed with a candy bar
Charleston Chews…she thinks they are bliss

CKEL, CJ or just Connie
Is by far one of the sweetest people we all can agree
Looks like she had some recent very sad losses
But as always she’s still smiling we see

To think that Gloria has been busy
Would be an understatement by me
A new son for her brood named Gabriel
That’s now 5 kids in her family we see

Sean and Leslie have two cutie children
Noah and Bethany we’ve watched them grow up
We hear of wrasslin, fun times and school days
And the stories of Charlie their crazy pup

Amanda is another of our Goddesses
Who lives in the East near the shore
She loves to keep us all up on her cooking
Friends and good times she’s got by the score

Gail is too busy being the super mom
To post in the chatter group right here
Still Santa has seen she is out there
With pictures of her twins they’re so dear

Jessica might be the world’s greatest auntie
For videos of nieces and nephews she’ll post
Family, friends, travels, wine and food
Are the things that she loves just the most

Story came to the states but we missed her
She had quite a tour that’s no doubt
Santa sees she just got a new laptop
On her Christmas/Hanakuh list it’s crossed out

Abbi Zito was called once the Wannabe Canadian
But Illinois is her home now we know
Strange since she’s originally from California
And has become quite used to the snow

So Melissa who always clammers for the poem
Got hitched in the year just gone by
She’s missing her puddin triplets still
But we think she’s landed a really good guy

Wolfy kept us up to date on the home renovation
They busted and tore down some walls
She’s still selling the soaps at the craft fairs
I am sure that she gives it her all

Darlene what a year this girl has had
New job, location and wow this is clear
She’s found her true love in guy Jimmy
Santa wonders if there will be a wedding this year?

Eddie C is another of our tv technical experts
This one based down South Texas way
He’s got a sweetie wife there named Susann
His jokes crack Santa up in his sleigh

C.L. spends his time in the Big Apple
Acting in theater and plays are his kicks
He’s currently watching 83 nights of Oscar movies
Wow that is a one long list of flicks

Jennifer who we once called Tixie
Changes to work this past year she has done
Now works for a community college
And sells handbags that are really so fun

Zanne keeps us all up on her food blog
And what is afoot with mom and Lou
She just got new glasses that scream so cute
A fiery red mane is still her preferred do

Joe from San Ho is orginally from Wisconsin
He follows those sports teams real tight
But for Santa he will always be known as
The music man who thinks Maroon is so right

David slaves away at Waverly Castle
Scrubbing and dusting and baking
But now a much bigger project's in the works
For Jenna, the Tornado, a wedding's in the making

Durfy Smurfy Big Er’n
She hides her true identity
Oh look she just got married
Mrs. S for now she’ll be?

Santa knows that he has not covered everyone
Plainly put…some folks have not him befriended
So he hopes that dear Mike, Colleen, Valerie and Sarah
You won’t read this poem and be offended

Can you believe that we’ve seen another year?
Come and go in the blink of an eye
So many changes have happened in our lives
Still to keep up with each other we try

I hope this little ditty does find you
In the midst of the season so fun
Pretty quick it’s off to 2012
Another year of our lives will have begun

It wouldn’t be a chatter poem without mention
Of that band that brought us to this rappin
But seriously folks I hope I am not alone
In the wish that a Steven Page reunite will soon happen

So I end with a wish here of kindness
For good things, good health and good luck
Santa bids you all a fond farewell
With hopes that your year does not suck

i'll just go back to crocheting that blanket for my granddaughter…

Sadly d, although you are often thought of, Santa has a hard time writing a poem from a forum like the chatter that has basically died.

So last year, he migrated the thing to Facebook.

And since you are either not on facebook or have friended Santa, he doesn't know what the poppycock is going on in your life these days.

It's Christmas in May,
and so I must say
to all my old Chatter friends ...

It's an election year,
and thus, I fear
that we'd likely revert to old trends.

But take notice to this:
I wish ALL the bliss
to all who have found true love.

And as this era ends,
I DO call you friends,
and pray for more blessings from Above.
