So…how was everyone's easter?

we worked on our addition all weekend.. and my sweetie is sick with a bad cold..
I got to go to a girlfriend's house for din din.. and we are cooling our Easter dinner this weekend.. when my guy can hopefully taste food again.. lol

I ate a ton of candy.

Had a great weekend with the kids.

But…*sobs* had to take Andrew back to Madtown lasterday….

And it was fricking cold. Spring in Wisconsin. Just like Winter.

Easter was not Easter this year--it was my momma's birthday!

It was a very modest get together, and it was really nice. Got my mom one of those fancy schmancy toasters that are smarter than the user…which she loved b/c hers was making these weird "zap" noises lol and a few other things as well. The coolest thing, aside from the schmancy toaster, was a wooden ladle, made from olive wood. Thing cost as much as the damn toaster, but she's wanted one for such a long time…now she says she doesn't know if she'll use it! LOL

Overall, it was a really nice day and we had a nice, relaxing day for my momma!

Easter wasn't very Eastery this year. My parents basically canceled the family dinner at our house and the easter egg hunt because my dad has been pretty sick. So I stayed here in VA with Mike. We made a mini dinner for just the two of us. But when I called my parents to wish them a happy easter they were in Atlantic City ... so I guess my dad is feeling better hahha

I ate waaaay too much, and then drank even more. Needless to say, I'm on a cleanse. Between eating queso every day in Austin two weeks ago and the horrible eating habits I've had for the past two weeks, I need to center.

My mother in law and I cooked ham, chicken, potatoes, veggies, strawberry pineapple cake and then made from scratch Chai tea… it was a pretty good day…

Been working like a crazy person!  Mostly that and of course have musicals and plays going on and such… have a new one I'm doing makeup for, it's "Space Rangers and the Viper Menace"  think cheesy old old space tv shows.  Should be a fun time, and special effects make up.
