excited about the concert next week. singin Schubert's Winterreise with Orchestra. it's a big deal :)

procrastinating studying for tomorrow's exam which I will fail if I don't study for, lol.

after finding out that an old coworker lost his wife to cancer at 48….going home and giving my wife a hug….

lusting for beer and pizza…..

wondering how I got so lucky to have the most considerate bestie in the world…sends my wife a card of encouragement and congrats for going back to school….

excited to be seeing jenna for the first time in over a month for dinner tomorrow night in the big city….

someone at work asked what I do on the weekends, I told her that I play rockband while my cat sits on my head ... she then told me I needed to get life. yeay.

studying isn't coming easy. but i'm slogging through.

thinking that today was an awesome day in St. Augustine. I love that town with all it's local musicians playing on the streets…..

looking back and remembering how scarry Friday night was with Andrew going to the ER at 2am from some freaky allergic reaction in his eyes…never seen so much pain and screaming…may never know what caused it and glad he has his vision back and healing quickly….

headed out to get the stuff for a huge breakfast of pancakes from scratch, bacon and hash browns….

had fun last night at a concert with a beatles look alike band…whoohoo for dancing!

Nursing a sore shoulder AGAIN.  Starting to wonder if another surgery is in store for me. Booooooooo!

Irritated that our satellite receiver is "out of alignment" and won't be serviced until Tuesday morning.  We didn't lose all of our channels, but aren't getting any of the local network channels.  I insisted that it be fixed before Tuesday night so we don't miss LOST.  At least it's still under warranty and the service call won't cost anything.

Feeling pretty unmotivated today and planning to be relatively lazy.

Dreaming of upgrades I'd like to make to our house, but knowing it's not in the cards for us right now.

production hell galore. witnessed a full throttle prima-donna moment today by one of our male leads. seriously - he waled out and everything, lol.

am dying slowly but surely towards March 8th and 9th. have no idea if there's going to he life after those dates (those are the days of the shows).

after this production is over it's going to be at least three weeks I will have gone without a day off.

I did the oven version, took about 3.5 hrs for the beef to fall apart.  It was WONDERFUL.  I soaked up (w/a paper towel) some of the beef fat that beaded up on top at the end, which was a good move. Plenty rich as it was.

am deep in the last days of the Opera. we go into the theater Wednesday, then general rehearsals Thursday and Friday, Saturday night and Sunday night are dress and Monday and Tuesday nights are the shows.
