so finally managed to watch the Live at Michigan DVD I bought a loooooong time ago. (show was from June 15th 2007).

I have to say I'm kinda disappointed. especially by Steve. it just wasn't the same.

and I'm sorry, but they mangled their own Powder Blue! I saw it live about 6 years ago in LA and was in heaven, but I prefer the recorded version to the one on this DVD.

the extras were nice, though, and I loved the "Angry People" dance. made me laugh out loud :)

I saw part of that on PBS one night, and I have a cd copy of the soundtrack. Sadly, the cd got broken by one of the girls who borrowed my car.

I don't recall Powder Blue being that bad though….

I guess my memory of it from that live show I was actually *at* is so good that this one wasn't up to snuff, lol.

seriously, though, he just wasn't hitting the high notes and it made me sad.
