One more thing off my list of things that I want to do in my life. I'm now known as KB1TMK. I just got my "ticket" from the FCC for my Amateur Radio License. Next is to get the General books and get my next license up…then I can start talking across the world. As of right now, I only have my technician license…which limits to what frequencies I can talk on, on the Amateur Bands. When I get my General, I can talk on more…and ones that let me talk all over the world…if I can learn enough Radio Theory and electronic engineering, I can pass my Extra and have access to all Amateur Frequencies. I'm pretty excited…this is something that I've wanted to do for a long time. I had friends that did it back when I was in High School…but I never really studied enough to learn Morse Code… Next, win the lotto and get my pilots license. |

My dad used to do that when I was a kid…I used to collect all the stamps from the different postcards he received from around the world. It was so cool to listen to people…it's one of my earliest memories as a kid… |
