That you can call 911 from a pay phone even if you don't put any money into it? I didn't… And apparently neither did my daughter…police showed at her school this morning…courtesy of her… Shelby was horrified and bawling in the principal's office…told her… "They are going to send me to juvie and make me wear orange…I look TERRIBLE in orange!" Principal said she had to walk away so she didn't laugh in front of Shelby… Someone please tell me what it is like to live in a NORMAL family…I really want to know… |

It appears that Shelby's still does. |

Heh… my daughter learned that lesson when she was about 6 or 7 - police came to the door and scared the begeebies out of her. It's good that they know the number, but I guess some kids feel like they need practice dialing it. :) |

Same thing with a cell phone. Even if it's turned off and doesn't have a plan, you can still dial 911. Same thing with your home phone. Even if there's not service in a house, they still have to leave a line in so you can dial 911. |

Normal Family? Doesn't exist. At our house it always seems like life is just getting good and wham. Something like this would happen. You hope they learn from these lessons and avoid the really big mistakes later in life. Good luck! |

You know…I'm going to blame this on plastic baby bottles…lead in drinking water and toys… And not breast feeding…Jen wins that argument! I'm conceeding. ;) |

Darlene, I've been wondering about that normal family thing for years. I try so hard to give Justin a "normal life," but I think it's like trying to catch an elephant with a fishnet! |

Haha…that's cute Peggy! I think you do a pretty nice job with Justin…it's obvious that his well-being is your priority in life… Not everyone does that for their kids…how sad. |

Good grief, I had a REALLY hard time not being tacky there. My 8th grade boobie-brain just about took hold. |
