Ok, so two people hardly makes for a chatter reunion, but….

This weekend, Amelia and I had the utter joy of spending the weekend with David, Mrs. David, and the genetics experiments they like to call their children.  :) 

We had a blast.  Sun, surf, pool time, and just plain good old fashioned hanging out.  David and Jodi were the perfect hosts, and we were treated like royalty while we were there.

David, thank you for opening your home and your heart to us this weekend. We had a wonderful time, and will never ever forget it.

OMG…..we had such a good time.

Jodi totally loved having you guys and didn't she just shine with Amelia?  She loves kids. Seeing those two at the goat farm and trying to find minnows in lake michigan just bought tears to my eyes.

And hanging out on our deck with Jamie, Jenna and Andrew and FRYING OUT was a blast.

The campfire…how cool was that?

I am so glad you had fun. She is such a great kid….I am still laughing about "exploring" in my backyard with her and how giddy she was about the creepy fog and the flashlights. LOL.

As I said before….you have to come back with Nathan and we'll hit the wood fired pizza place and Urbane again.

Wolfy, he doesn't clean as much as he says he does. He cleans MORE.  No lie. LOL. 

We didn't fry. We grilled. And the bakeries were closed.

For some reason, that sounds dirtier than it was supposed to.

In David's defense, he took us to a bakery and THEN to the piggly wiggly. Or maybe the bakery was closed. I don't remember. I know we got Sheerboredom Mud Pies from the Piggly Wiggly.

And yeah, I thought you'd have either a southern or East Coast accent.  Not that that's a bad thing, it's just weird how different you sounded. 

I think it's automatic that I call Cpher anytime I have a gorgeous chatter goddess on my deck drinking beer with me.
