Well the time has finally come , I am done with my undergraduate career and I will be a fully licensed Music Therapist in about 3 weeks. My parents are throwing a huge party bash next saturday and I'll get to see all my family I've been missing for the last three years. It is such a strange feeling not getting ready to go to school, it's very bittersweet. I have a couple of interviews lined up over the next week so hopefully they all go well!

The interview today went incredably well. The woman I interviewed with , the owner of the company said " I tell it like it is and I am very straight forward and I am going to be straight forward with you now, I really like you." She wanted me to come in next week for three days to shadow but she ended up calling me about 10 minutes after I left asking if I would come in tomorrow. I feel really good and she was very impressed by everything I brought with me ( my portfolio, a music therapy proposal and market plan, and sample supplimentals I used through the year). Hopefully tomorrow goes well!

Got the job! I am offically in charge of the NEW music therapy program at Victorian Garden Center! They changed the of job because they were so impressed! Wooo! I'm a working woman now!

Well I'm not necessarily against "IT". ;)

I was very lucky to get this job so quickly. Seriously, I sent my resume Monday night, got a call from their HR person less than 24 hours later, had the interveiw thursday and was hired friday at 3 pm after a day of shadowing. It's crazy. Even besides this job, I was getting a lot of call backs on my resume.
