Where ya going? What ya doing?

I think we're actually staying away from Orlando and the money sucking mouse for one year. Next year or the year after I want to take the kids and stay a full week on a Disney property.

I'm shooting for Las Vegas in August, for my birthday. Might actually stay downtown this time and take a break from the strip.

A couple long weekends at the family houseboat on Lake Cumberland doing heavy eating, drinking, and wakeboarding.

Some day trips to Kings Island and Cedar Point.

Maybe a weekend at Put In Bay, hopefully when my favorite party band Disco Inferno is playing there.

I miss Put-in-Bay…

We'll be going on our customary North Myrtle Beach vacation this summer.  My in-laws rent a beach front condo every year and we all go down (my wife's parents, her two sisters' families, and us) for a week.  The in-laws foot the bill on the condo, so all we have to pay for is food and the gas to get us there.

We will be spending time going to Madison to see Andrew on some of the weekends. Hoping to plan one around when Jen and her brew club are there for a weekend.

Hoping to take a road trip to Ohio to see some of my chatter buddies…gotta work that out.

End of summer…if it doesnt conflict with Josh's murderer's trial, I am going to New Orleans for a TAG (Formerly Carlson Wagonlit Travel) National meeting to unveil their new name. Going to try and add a day onto the end of that to scoot over to see Jeff. Havent told him that yet. LOL.

Maybe a romantic weekend with the missus up to Mackinac Island or Door County.

I don't normally take vacations.

This year, if everything works out, i'll be driving Mathew down to Alabama so he can stay a few weeks with his sister. I'm just transportation lol But I'm hoping to stay a day and spend time with DeeK.

I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that it works out…

Other than taking the boys to Colorado to stay with my mom for the summer, I got nothing.

I'm hoping to go to NYC to visit my friend while the boys are gone, but I haven't started planning anything yet.

Vacation?  What's that?  :-)  I got nothing planned and can't really afford anything right now either.  Apparently I need to meet a wealthy man that will take me on vacation this summer! 

We've got a long 4th of July weekend at the beach planned… same cottage I stayed at last summer with the girls, but this time it will be me, Justin and OUR girls.  I can't freakin wait…. I looooooooooooooooooove the ocean!

Justin and the little 3 are probably going to Montana for his family reunion in June.  We hoped for all of us to go, but Kaeti has finals Fri/Mon/Tues - and the reunion is the weekend in between. =(

We've also got a few day trips planned - Leavenworth and the San Juans.

Yeah, I can't afford anything either.  Am doing Madison with my brew club for a weekend, but that's not quite a vacation. 

We'll be in Newport all summer w/ a few trips up to Maine and Newfoundland in the training boat….am easing up on my racing schedule…sort of.

I'll probably be breeding birds, so I won't be able to go anywhere. Anyway, I'm broke as hell, so I couldn't afford to go anywhere. And, even if I wasn't broke as hell (or breeding birds), I couldn't just leave all these birds unattended for more than a day.

Just did a spring break trip to VA/DC…

Week of July 4th…I am going to Massachusetts to bring Shelby back home (she'll be spending June with my parents)...I figured I'd spend 10 days getting spoiled by my parents…get out on the lake…go to the Cape…Boston…

Another Cheesecake Factory is opening in Columbus the day after my B-Day….so Chip is going to be very busy…no time for a vacation…

With Shelby gone…Chip busy…and the boys older and doing their own thing…I'll probably fly down to Florida for a long weekend or two to hang with my best friend…

We've discussed a family vacation in September…boys want to go to Cali…San Diego to be exact…

And with no lacrosse obligations for the first time in 10 YEARS…next spring…we are taking Shelby to Acapulco…she's been a good sport all these years…being dragged all over the place…in all kinds of weather….to watch her brother play….

Oh..and I am also going to get my butt back up to Minnesotah to see my bestie.

And if anyone is going to be near Sheboygan, you are all welcome. 

We have plenty of empty bedrooms and a pool!

So, while in MA you're not going to give me a call and come over for beers???

I think that my parents are coming up and renting a 7 bedroom house for a week or two in Newport and having my brother and his kids come down from Minn/St.Paul and us over…  But I think that we'll only do a long weekend.

So, we'll do that…but with the freaking price of gas….I doubt that we'll do much.

I'll take days off here and there for Sox games….but that's about it.

DAR!!!  If you do make it out to SD you KNOW we are going to have to meet up damn it!!!!!

Yes C-pher…I am going to take the train into Boston from Worcester…we will definitely do beer…OTD too…

Oh yeah…I'll be in MA June 27th and return back to Ohio on the 7th.

I've been looking a little bit at Pigeon Forge. It's only a six hour drive and seems a good place to take the family for a few days. Anyone ever been?

My parents have a home in the Pigeon Forge area (Sieverville)...it's really nice…

I can check and see if their cabin is available…if not….I know of some other cabins we used when they were building…
