I was going to comment on how Fox News doesn't represent America, but unfortunately it does…very much so.  We have a lot of idiots down here, sorry.

Yeah… there are times where us Canuks are ignorant about Yankees.. and there are times where Yankees are ignorant about us Canuks…  but. I was absolutely appalled at this one… to ridicule men and women who are overseas, and unfortunately dying, of all nationalities, I was just stunned… 

And of course, his timing for the comments.. as well as the comments from the other three on the show… sucked as we just had 4 soldiers returning home… 

And then to apologize and say it was mis-understood?  Give me a f*cking break…  sorry.. we have idiots up here as well..  but that.. was not cool… not cool at all..

Speaking of bringing soldiers home…  and we do our "Highway of Heroes" procession on Highway 401 in Ontario (there is a facebook group.. look it up on the internet.. I think it is also on youtube..).  The soldiers land in Trenton and there is a funeral procession all the way to Toronto.. which is about a 90 minute drive.

People crowd the bridges and overpasses of the highway as these men and women are driven by, saluting, crying, paying their respect.  Cars pull over, it is very very touching…

Anyhow.. one of our best friends drives a truck for a living and on the previous procession our friend Larry was pulled over on the highway and another trucker from Maine was pulled over as well..  The US trucker did not know what was going on and got out of his truck and ending up approaching Larry…  The poor guy could not figure out why the traffic was not moving…  When Larry explained to him what was being done… The US trucker broke down in tears and was just overwhelmed that we do that.. he said he has never seen anything like it.  His nephew is overseas and he was just full of emotions and pride for our Canadian soldiers…

so… not everyone down in the states are idiots…  just the ones paid the big bucks on tv…

Yeah, well Rupert Murdoch is no dummy.  He created Faux News because there was a demand for another shitty 24-hour news channel.  It has nothing to do with right or left slanting, it's the fact that Faux News is completely biased and manufactured based on this commercial demand from the viewers.  He's totally upfront about it, too.  All of his internal memos dictate how the channel is supposed to skew the news to keep the viewers happy.  Unfortunately there's a large contingent who feel it's appropriate to bash other (friendly) countries' military.

What is important is that my cousin served in Afghanistan and is very appreciative of Canada's support.

Wow…these people just ooze stereotypes.  I love how he thinks we're the most "powerful country in the universe".  That's why I hate Fox News so much.  They are so fucking ignorant to the rest of the world.

I wouldn't recommend going to the reflecting pool in DC unless you want to be covered in geese shit…not to mention the fact that the water is so polluted with it, it is green and thick.  Nasty.
