Getting ready to hit the Arnold Schwarzenegger fitness expo and sports festival for about the 20th year in a row. This is my favorite weekend to be in Columbus. Over 150 hotels near the convention center are completely booked. 17,000 athletes representing every sport you can think of are here. There are over 700 booths at the expo this year I think. I can gorge myself on free protein bar samples served by fitness models in tiny spandex outfits. What is better than that? Plus UFC is now part of it and if its like last year they'll have several top fighters at their booth. Leslie is the queen at scoring free tshirts from vendors so we're going to try to break a record this year.

Feeling bad that my sweetie is feeling a little under the weather and hoping she's up for the sheer madness of the expo.

That sounds like a blast! 

...about 6 hours away from an entire week off work and as excited as a kid on Christmas Eve….

happy it's the weekend.

starting to wake up from the few weeks of funk I sunk into lately. I guess it was necessary for me to be there for me to get back up.

really happy it was sunny today and will be sunny again tomorrow. it totally made me smile and happier than I've been in a while :)

also happy that even though I had a sort of one night stand with the ex-jerk, it just served for me to know just how much I am over him. now he's the one that needs to realize it.

not crazy about our forecast of rain, sleet and then 6 inches of snow….

excited about the end of the week and getting andrew home from madtown for 8 days….

going to sneak another whipped cream egg….

starting an essay about the motivations for splits and mergers and not exactly thrilled about the prospect of having to work on it

glad that it was sunny for my sister's visit this weekend

enjoying the memories of last night's noah and the whale gig and looking forward to listening to more of the music of the guy who supported them, jay jay pistolet :-)

Amazed by the people of this province I live in. Every year we have what we call Telemiracle, It's a 20 hour TV telethon ( volunteer on the production crew). Our province of under a million people, despite the tough economic times we are living in, just raised 3.8 million dollars which is actually more than was raised last year. We have some good people I tell ya

Losing my office this week and having to move over into the actual dept. that I work in with old hens that are gonna be all up in my biznas in about 2 seconds. I'm gonna be stuck at a desk being monitored and it's about 80 degrees because the old hens are cold and my side of the office doesn't have a good air supply.

On the lighter side, it's official, i'm gonna move into my boyfriends condo at the end of june! ;o) I'm so freaking happy I can't stand it. Looking forward to being domestic and traveling more with my man.
