the one who I used to snuggle up on the couch to watch Lion King with…AND Beauty and the Beast  
who used to giggle in hysterics when you tickled her under the chin with one finger…
who used to love purple…
who picks up snakes like nothing…
who used to hug me whenever I picked her up from daycare or school…
who used to sing at the top of her lungs in the kitchen…
who used to snuggle into bed when she was feeling sick…
who used to eat green beans and yellow beans too…
who still knows all the Disney music word by word…

turns 16 today…...

wow…  where does time really go???
our time on this earth really is too freaking short!!!!!

How old to drive up there ?

Mine was all excited over 14 years up in Kansas, and when we moved here and she couldn't even get a permity until 15 1/2, she was PISSED.

(but I wasn't)

awwwww…they do grow up just too fast.

They can get their learner's permit at 16 here…
but she has no desire yet to get it..

I teared up at the Lion King - that was the first movie I took Kaeti to in the theatre (she's 16 in June) and she just went and saw it on Broadway last weekend - in NYC!

*sigh*
