Wishing I could make someone feel better just by wishing it….

Still very very sick… it seems that the original antibiotic I was on wasn't working (my throat and fever kept getting worse), so late last night I got switched over to another.  Still not feeling any better. In fact, my throat is worse. I can barely swallow. I have about 1.5 hrs out of every 6 where the 800 mg of ibuprofen helps enough that I can actually get out of bed, but other than that I'm beyond miserable.  I'm hoping that this new med works; if it doesn't, then I'm a bit afraid about what I actually have.

Thinking it's kind of pathetic that I'm sitting here looking out at the road wondering if I can navigate my car out so I can go get a pedicure of all things. 
Our road is one that isn't plowed and there's SO much snow that I couldnt even get in the driveway last night.

at my dad's for a brief night and hannukah celebration we had. latkes were wonderful!

having money issues that I really don't like, but that's the curveball that I got this time. going to try to sort it out this week.

giving up on figuring out the weather….47 and flash floods yesterday….20 and snowing today….

giving up on trying to figure out my health as well and just going to go back to working out with hopes of either getting better or dying….lol

gathering up some new years resolutions that I can fail at….

telling David that I hope I am not on that "fake" list….

proud of myself for going for a walk today…. it wasn't very far, maybe a mile total but it felt good and I am going to do some crunches and the like later…..

wondering what to do with myself today after my laundry is done.

YAY!!!! They plowed our street - at 3:45am.  Too bad my car is parked on the street and is now further buried. OY

just back from the Lieder competition at the academy.

I was first out of many (about 15), which wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. it actually went pretty well, I think.

I've never seen my teacher so happy after a performance, and my previous teacher said it was the best she's ever heard me, so yeah.

also, was offered a job at the political party I'm with and I'm taking it! they're paying more than I'm making now, and even though it's temporary - till after our elections on feb.10th - it feels right.

feeling the changes in the air and they're all somehow close to the new year. I think it's going to be a good one.
