Yes folks…its back. Both Winter and David's Winter rant thread. Where you can come and piss and moan (with both sets of lips if so desired) about how much you fucking hate winter.  I'll go first.

First, we had 6 plus inches of snow on Sunday-which was NOT FUCKING FORECAST FOR and it totally screwed up taking Andrew back to Madison. We were supposed to have a nice relaxed Sunday, big breakfast, watch NFL games and then go back about 5pm. NO…we had to rush out of bed and leave by 11am.  Fuck That.

So I had to deal with every living idiot driving who forgot how to drive in snow. And all the Nancy Northshore bitches in their 20 ton Ford Expiditions who do not understand 4 WHEEL DRIVE DOES NOT KEEP THE VEHICLE ON THE ROAD, IT ONLY IMPROVES TRACTION FROM A DEAD STOP.

I am sorry, but 98 pound women who stand 5 foot nothing do not need to be driving a 1 ton Toyota Tacoma that they need a step ladder to get into.  You'll get the same traction from a nice small Subaru and it will be better on the environment.

So yeah. I love winter. I love freezing my ass off as poor little Gibbs runs around the back yard like a maniac looking for a place to shit.

Plus this morning, it was 10 fucking degrees.

We are supposed to have snow tonight, snow tomorrow and then highs in the single digits the rest of the week.

An Alberta clipper they call it.

I call it fucking bullshit.

Why I live here is beyond me. Oh…I know why, because my small business is here and it really doesnt move well.

Fuck Winter.

I love Winter…this is the best time of the year!

You dont have to worry about 75 school buses on the road each day it snows..waiting for some idiot to plow into them. Or getting them started at 5am when it is 22 below zero.

Yesterday was December 1 and we had 60 degree weather in the Boston area.
Just wanted to rub it in. *wink wink*

I hate getting up early in the morning to go to work when it is cold. Even worse when I am scraping ice off my car windows. This is the time of year I decide I should get a remote car starter for the car, but never do it and complain all winter about my car being cold.

I love when it snows, but hate when I have to go out driving in it. I know I must be getting old because I think the snow should disappear the day after Christmas and not return until the next December.

Mostly, the only thing I don't like about winter is being cold.

LL Bean clothes are ugly. Almost as bad is Eddie Bower. Blargh.

Can we just hold the winter animosity til February when I'm ready to MURDER people because my limbs are freezing off?

I hate people who do not brush the snow off their car windows!!

I just about got hit coming back from lunch by a car that literally had one small hole in the snow on the windshield to see out.

I agree with Mox in that we're just getting started on winter, I'm trying to hold off on the hating for a bit. BUT…

I hate having to walk the dog in -15 degree weather where it's so cold out that the air even sound brittle…

I hate getting so cold in my drafty old house that I need a hot bath just to warm my bones…

I hate getting into a stiff frozen car at 5:30 at night after a long day in clinic…

Winter doesnt begin til December 21st…. so youre not allowed to whine anymore about winter until it's actually winter.

You've obviously never lived in the Midwest. Winter is the season in between the end of roadwork and… the beginning of road work.
