I had this DELICIOUS pumpkin ale the other day. It's New Hollands' Ichabod Ale. It's very light (most pumpkin ales are dark and heavy) and really, really, really tasty.

I recommend waiting for it to come to room temperature before you dive in. You won't taste the beer without at least 10 minutes of hang time. (This isn't in my mind, the object of my affection agreed.)

I loves me some pumpkin ale.  My favorite so far is Dogfish Head's Punkin' Ale.  I'll have to give this one a shot.

Thanks, Mox! I'll have to see if I can find it.  I've never found a pumpkin ale I like, so I'd like to try one that someone actually recommends.

Dogfish Head rocks in general. They do some really ballsy stuff when it comes to ABV (alchohol level) and hop usage. 

I just brewed a coffee vanilla porter.  Hoping it turns out.
