I did not cry last went when Romulaude, Lemonade or whatever her name was got the boot.

Still have my money on David Cook, David Archuletta or Michael Johns.

Kristy will be next off the show, followed by Shazam or Shaneesta.

Why cant people name their children something old folks like me can remember?

I don't watch AI, but was forced to watch it on Tuesday when I went to my mom's house.

I stopped willingly watching when Clay lost; I still believe Clay should've won. Besides, who even hears about Reuben anymore? Umm..NO ONE!

Anyway…I don't know any of their names lol I know that I did not like the last guy that sang, the 29 year old. Simon seemed to like him, but man, I didn't. If I had any interest in this show, I'd hope that he gets voted off.

The 16 year old kid was fantastic. Mum thinks that he's going to get kicked off tho b/c he's too young and inexperienced--but she's rooting for him.

No one else stood out for me. lol

As far as freaky names--I was talking to another professional about a family who named their kid something completely retarded and then spelled it even more retarded…and the last name was something very simple (like smith/jones/etc). I told the other professional--thank heavens people don't realize that they can change their last names too! At least there's still a BIT of normalcy out there lol

Try working as a birth certificate clerk sometimes. There were occasions where I wanted to throttle the parents for what they were about to do to their child.

Man this is the first year I've liked more than one person. I hate Archuleta though, kid sings well enough but just seems so fake.

I love Brooke. She seems like she is 24 going on 34. Very mature. Nice voice. But I dont think she will win.

Carly….dunno. She's had that MCA record out in 2002 and it flopped.

This year with the people playing their own instruments, I think Jen should try out next season. She's got a beautiful voice, is a very talented guitarist and lets face it, she's just so photogenic and I think America would love her.

But..yeah…she's not 28. Dumb rule.

I only catch bits here and there but I *love* Michael Johns.

As for odd spellings I have a Kaetlyn who goes by Kaeti.. it doesnt get mispronounced really, but it gets misspelled a lot. Mom tried to warn me - her parents named her Vickie and she didnt realize til she enlisted in the Navy that the hospital messed up on her birth certificate, spelling it Vicie.  So that's how she's spelled it every sense - she gets called Vice-y a lot.  And then I have an Ember… spelled normally - and she gets called Amber more often than not.

I'm naming my next kid Jack. 

I always liked the name Danae (duh-nay-uh); Greek mythology, she was hercules' wife. Some pronounce is "dan-nay" too.

But A) my brother's name is daniel, my nephew's name is daniel and my other nephew's middle name is daniel. lol So…no. B) I'd be afraid of a jinx, since Hercules' wife was killed. and C) I don't think I could do that to my kid. LOL

Brooke White was my early favorite, but David Cook brings it every week, and I think he's becoming my favorite.  Other than those two, I'm not really high on anyone.

I agree with Dean, the Archuletta kid is fake as can be.  I just don't see people buying his album.

I am SOOOOOO over David Archuleta.  The boy has a nice voice but its the same damn thing every freaking time.  If he does one more pageant-rific performance, I'm gonna climb into my TV and smack him.

I am so in love with David Cook now.  Every week I love him more and more.  I so want him to win, which means he won't.

I think Carly has one of the best singing voices ever on the show, but I just don't think she's clicking with the audience.  My Irish might be showing, but I cheer a little every time she gets through.

I really like Brooke and Jason Castro.  They are imperfect singers but they are enjoyable to listen to.  I would go to a coffee house and watch either of them perform any day, I just don't think they fit the "American Idol" ideology.

As for Syesha…whatever.  I forget she's even still on the show.  So very predictable.

And Kristy Lee Cook has so figured out how to pander to the audience…first the walking to the chairs before Ryan even said it thing, then the God Bless the USA, then last night with the note.  I am so over her already.  And she's not even that good.

I liked Ramiele, but I think she checked out of the show a few weeks ago.  Her last few performances have been very much like she just doesn't care anymore.

I forgot about Michael Johns.  He's too on and off for me to really get behind him.  Plus, he seems to be trying to badly impersonate Michael Hutchence, which bothers me to no end.  Because, he's not.

So far David Cook has had the most consistant and original performances..have to admit that in the beginning he was coming off as pretty arrogant and cocky but has toned that down the past couple of weeks.

Tonights show…I thought Kristy Lee really shined as did David Achuletta.

David Cook…I just didnt get his tonight.

And Brooke…not her best….but I'd run off with her in a heartbeat. She's such an old hippy at the ripe age of 24.

Archuleta totally destroyed one of my most favoritist songs ever so…fuck him.

I definately didn't think it was one of David's best performances, but it might have been the song.  Carly totally blew it.  It was bad enough that she totally didn't get the song, which had no place on an "inspirational songs" night, that is unless she too is dying of AIDS and hiding it from everyone, but I digress…

Honestly, I dislike this theme much like last year…its too schmaltzy for my tastes.

Kristy Lee actually sounded pretty good tonite.

Brooke always looks so awkward when she's just standing there singing by herself…that and terrified.

Nobody knocked my socks off this time…most were pretty self indulgent….though I've always loved that arrangement of 'Over the Rainbow'...
