You read that correctly. I'm sure most of you know me by now, but I was gone away for a while. So I'll offer up some info. Questions of course are always welcome. I'm 31. I'll be 32 in May. I live in New York City where I am attempting to be an actor. Granted I could probably stand to work a little bit harder, but I'll get there. For now I'm paying my bills by playing Leatherface and Jason Voorhees in the Chamber of Horrors at Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum. I am single as of the end of 2007. That new found "freedom" caused to make a major step in my life. I signed up for Team in Training. It's an endurance sport training program that is supported by The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Basically, you agree to raise money for the cause and they will train you and enter you into one of the many events they are involved in for that season. My event is the New York City Triathlon. In July I will be Swimming a mile in the Hudson (cringe), Biking 24 miles and then running a 10K (6.2 miles). All in the span of hopefully less than three hours. I've been officially training since March 1st but due to the break-up my unofficial training started January 2nd. I've travelled almost 800 miles between the three disciplines. I've worked out 89 days in a row and counting. I've lost, as of today, 32 pounds. It's easy to say that this decision to do this has changed my life. I'm healthier, more confident, and just in a better frame of mind. I see the physical changes I'm going through and I like it. I want it to apply to as many aspects of my life as possible. So as soon as I'm geared up (triathlon is an expensive sport) I'll be applying some of those changes to the rest of my life. It's exciting. 2008 is definitely on the path to being a groundbreaking year in my life. I'll stop blabbing now. Anything else can easily be covered in the Q & A section. |

That's just great about your training. I bet you look fabulous. You should post your donation site….its for a great cause! |

I didn't want to seem like I was shilling but since you mentioned it. If you'd like to donate to the cause you can go to: http://www.active.com/donate/tntnyc/cl ever since I lost my grandfather to cancer I've tried to do what I can to help out. I try to donate platelets every two weeks. I'm on the Bone Marrow Donor List. Now I'm doing this. Plus I'm going to be doing a 4 mile run for Lung Cancer in Central Park on the 13th of April. I just saw a sign in the Subway for the Breast Cancer Walk in October. While I prefer to do something a little more active it's all for a good cause right? Oh, and yeah, if I do say so myself, I'm looking faboo. |

Hopefully all that training includes applying a protective coating before you go swimming in the Hudson. Yuck! Good for you, sweetness! LLS is a charity dear to my heart as well. |

Yeah the protective coating is called a wetsuit and hopefully it covers as much skin as possible. |

Actually, I meant a protective coating for the wet suit. You don't know what that "water" will eat through. ;) |

Oh god, I don't even want to think about that. Good thing I'm a good swimmer. I'll be able to get in and out as quickly as possible. |
