This was brought up in the features thread, but I only got a couple of responses…

Do you guys and gals want user accounts?  This would make it so you would have to log in to post.  But it would also allow for such features as avatars, post editing, personal timezone settings, etc.

Personally, I like having the posting open like it is…but I can't think of any other way to add all these fancy features everyone is interested in.

I don't mind the notion of user accounts.  It might add that much more security to the site.
