Pregnant teenager accused of using waffle iron in attack

A pregnant teen from Sheboygan has been charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly throwing a waffle iron at the father of her unborn child, hitting him in the head.

Stephanie C. Fennessy, 17, of 1007-A Georgia Ave., faces up to 90 days in jail if convicted of the misdemeanor offense, filed Monday.

According to a criminal complaint:

Fennessy was at her apartment Sunday with a 19-year-old Milwaukee man and her two sisters when one of the sisters made a joke. The man, Dominique D. Riggins, told police Fennessy became upset, thinking everyone was laughing at her.

[b]Fennessy — who is five months pregnant with her third child — confronted Riggins, slapping him in the face.[/b]

He slapped her back, and she grew more angry and began pulling on his clothes.Fennessy grabbed a waffle iron and threw it at Riggins, hitting him in the back of the head.

Riggins, who previously lived in Sheboygan, was arrested last month after officials at Riverview Academy in Sheboygan reported Fennessy was pregnant and she identified him as the father.

He was charged with misdemeanor sexual intercourse with a child and could face up to nine months in jail, if convicted.

Under Wisconsin law, it is a felony to have sexual contact with a child under the age of 16, and a misdemeanor if the child is 16 or 17.

Okay…so if there ever was an aurgument for my Mandatory Birth Control program, this is it.

The GIRL is 17 and on her THIRD CHILD!

No, not really--but although Ohio doesn't have a legal age of consent, 16 is looked upon as that age, and they can be screwing a 99-1/2 year old, but as long as their 16 no problem.

Unless that older person is in a position of authority--like a school teacher, counselor, scout leader, active step-parent, parent…then it's a whole different ball game.

The word on the street is that this is the third child from 3 different fathers.
